Our Community Working Group

Heeyersu's work is directed by participating community, faith, youth, cultural, disability, aged care and service groups. They set priorities, review progress and hold the work accountable — which is what keeps this community-led rather than delivered to community.

Heeyersu

Heeyersu is a community-led initiative working alongside individuals, families, young people, elders and community leaders to strengthen access to support, build community capacity and create more culturally responsive pathways to services.

Formerly the Karen Community Project

Heeyersu acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we live and work, and pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging. We welcome all cultures, faiths and communities.
